Stroud Arts Collective get a shiny new website

I'm part of a new Art Collective in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Called Studio3Stroud and I've just finished a website to help promote the collective.

We are a group of local artists and makers with a passion for creative expression and aim to encourage our local community to enjoy art through artist-led workshops, events and exhibitions. Over the coming months, there will be a gallery for each artist to display their unique art and crafts.

I’m thrilled to have joined the collective as I’ve been looking for an opportunity to have studio space so that I can create new artworks. Studio3Stroud is an industrial unit that has been completely renovated into an art space with storage on the ground floor and a workshop and gallery space on the upper floor.

It was fabulous to be able to move all of my old artworks into the studio space which had been in storage for some time and I’m excited to be getting paint onto canvas again after several years break.

In December, I held a pop-up exhibition of my existing works, which was well attended and I sold several artworks on the night.

As an artist is create inspirational works of art for private and corporate clients, from full size wall graphics and installations for offices, conference areas and receptions, to cafe's and restaurants to health and wellbeing centres. Any wall or space can be transformed with large scale art, which is a key motivator for staff and can reduce work related stress. I also accept private commissions for paintings, sketches and illustrations.

As a published poet I write about the joys of nature and the human devastation of it. I also write poems for brands and businesses to engage their audiences in new and more thought provoking ways.
