Studio 18 Open Exhibition

I was delighted to be accepted into the Studio 18 Open art exhibition in Brimscombe, Stroud and have three artworks on display.

Studio 18 is a new gallery and artists collective to Stroud and I was lucky enough to be told about the call for submissions by a friend and thankfully I got accepted to show my work there as part of the group exhibition, which featured a wide range of art on display from painting and drawing to printmaking and sculpture.

I was also delighted to learn that one of my artworks ‘Snail Jam’ sold on the opening night. This artwork is photographic art and was originally a photograph of sea snails on a rock at Manorbier Beach in Wales.

I’d not been in a group art show for some time and this was a great exhibition to be a part of with such a variety of art and of such a high standard.

The show ended on the 20th July and the artworks not sold have been collected. Having only recently moved to Stroud this was a great boost for my art career and I’m looking forward to creating new art both photographic and painted in the near future.
